Clinical Pharmacy/Community Health Care and Sciences

Our laboratory aims to identify challenges in community pharmacies and local healthcare settings, and through research, education, and practice, to clarify how pharmacists’ expertise is demonstrated in the community and what value it brings to society. Based on practical experience in community pharmacies, we broadly examine such topics as the roles of community pharmacists, public perceptions of pharmacies, collaboration with medical institutions, medication safety, and pharmacotherapy for older adults, and we seek to feed the findings back into both education and clinical practice.
