Research Overview

Our laboratory conducts basic and clinical research aimed at developing therapeutic drugs for managing symptoms of common diseases such as diabetes and heart failure, as well as cancer, and for managing side effects associated with these treatments.

Description

1. Basic and clinical research on elucidating the mechanisms of onset of lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes and their complications, and on the development of new therapeutic drugs.

2. Clinical research on the current state of drug treatment in the cardiovascular field, such as heart failure, and on the factors and timing of side effects.

3. Basic and clinical research on symptom management in cancer patients, elucidating the mechanisms of side effects induced by cancer treatment, and on the development of new therapeutic drugs.
