Clinical Pharmacy/Pediatric and Perinatal Pharmacology

The clinical evaluation of pediatric pharmacotherapy presents numerous challenges, including changes in the pharmacokinetics of medications, differences in the onset of therapeutic effects, and the occurrence of side effects specific to children. Additionally, there are many issues surrounding the environment for pediatric drug development, such as the limited development of pediatric formulations and the unique characteristics of conducting clinical research and trials in children. To address these challenges in pediatric pharmacotherapy, we will conduct objective research from a clinical pharmacology perspective to identify key issues and develop solutions.
