Practical Pharmacy

Features of the Laboratory of Practical Pharmacy

In our laboratory, we leverage our experience as clinical pharmacists and our collaboration with hospitals to conduct research from both basic and clinical perspectives. Our main research focuses include:

  • Animal studies on the extravasation of anticancer drugs (mouse model research)
  • Clinical research on cancer pharmacotherapy and supportive care (analysis of electronic medical record data)

In terms of education, we provide opportunities for students to develop an early awareness of clinical practice through activities such as conference presentations, collaborative research with hospitals, and site visits. Through these experiences, students can interact directly with practicing pharmacists, envision their future roles, and enhance their interest in clinical practice and motivation for learning.

Through both research and education, we aim to train the next generation of clinical pharmacists who can practice pharmacotherapy based on scientific evidence and contribute to improving the quality of healthcare.
