Meiyaku Museum
This pharmaceutical museum was established in 1981 in recognition of the achievements of the founder of the University, Shigenobu Onda (pen name, Godo), who promulgated pharmaceutical education in Japan. The museum is open to the general public to provide enlightenment on pharmaceutical science. Articles on display include the following.
The Ohara Pharmaceutical Collection, articles dating back to 1775 and donated to the University by Mr. Monzabro Ohara. Materials related to the founder of the University and the history of the University. Pharmaceutical materials (nature remedy specimens, Japanese and Western classics on medical and pharmaceutical topics). Part of the collection is on view on the Web site.
